Jio Becomes First Telecom Company After Launched 'Calendar Month Validity' Recharge Plan Today | Check Details Here

India’s largest telecom operator Reliance Jio has on monday launched Rs 259 plan that comes with a calendar month (30 days) validity following a directive from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). The plan will help users remember just one recharge date every month.

Jio is the first in the industry to launch the ‘calendar month validity’ prepaid plan after TRAI’s directive. Till now, the telco had been offering a prepaid plan with 28 days of service validity.

With this plan, users can get 1.5GB of daily data, 100 SMS per day, unlimited voice calling and complimentary subscription to Jio Apps such as JioCinema, JioTV, JioCloud, and JioSecurity. After the user consumes the 1.5 GB daily data, the speed of the internet drops to 64 kbps for the rest of the day.
